On Thursday, April 20th, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) announced three new additions to its Online Services: the Preliminary Assessment (PA) Report, the Preliminary Assessment/Site Investigation (PA/SI) Report, and the Site Investigation (SI) Report. These new services will make it possible to submit the corresponding PA, PA/SI, and SI Reports online.
Use of these three new Online Services is optional for 90 days following this announcement, but will become mandatory on July 18, 2017.
With the addition of the PA, PA/SI, and SI Reports, Online Services electronic submittals are now available (and mandatory, in many cases) for all remedial phase reports except for the Response Action Outcome (RAO).
Training and handouts for these and the previous Online Services can be found at the links below. Full instructions can also be found detailing every question included in the PA, PA/SI, and SI reports. The NJDEP recommends reviewing these in full before using the Online Services.
If you have questions about these or any other technical updates, please contact a Penn E&R environmental professional at 215-997-9000.
