Penn E&R obtained a certificate of excellence for its ability to evaluate water pollution standards, specifically minerals, pH and turbidity in the state of New Jersey. The certification was presented by Waters ERA, a provider of proficiency testing products and certified reference materials. Penn E&R Project Manager Michael Danko completed the certification with 100% efficiency.
Proficiency testing serves as an important tool in measuring a laboratory’s testing accuracy and reliability. A laboratory looking to obtain certification requests samples from an accredited proficiency testing program. The laboratory’s personnel test the samples, which contain known amounts of analytes that must be measured within defined acceptance ranges, and report the results to the proficiency testing program. The program then grades the results and sends the laboratory its scores.
This certificate of excellence, obtained for the state of New Jersey, validates Penn E&R’s exceptional ability to collect and evaluate laboratory and field measurements. To learn more about the water pollution testing services we provide, contact a Penn E&R professional at 215-997-9000.
